By very far my favorite French island off the west coast of France. Yeu island offers magnificent beaches (although cold water), great landscapes and great seafood. Everything is quite expensive there but nothing unusual especially in August. I would definitely recommend to visit between May...More

An island that you can empty your soul and you will leave with a voice calling you to go back. A nice place cut from the noisy world. A paradise covered with rocks, clear waters, wonderful people, white houses with blue windows, and full of...More

Lovely island, great for one day-visit. Take the boat, rent bikes, or better yet a typical Citroen Mihara and go around the island. We did it by bike with a 10 and 13 yr old and had plenty of time. Visit the castle (great views!),...More

We arrived by boat and rented bicycles to explore the island. Lovely little towns and beautiful nature with nice beaches.

We arrived on our own boat planning to stay one night, stayed 3, and could have enjoyed more but we had commitments. The island is user friendly. Easy bus routes that cover the island and marvelous beaches and walking trails.

Great coastal walks and superb beaches, coupled with a lack of tat. Completely charming. Visited early July and it was quiet. Probably very crowded in the high season.

This is my childhood island and despite it being more touristy now rather than a fishing port, there is still plenty of the old charm left to satisfy anyone who loves island life. The coastline is simply superb and great to see on a bike...More

No. You will need to rent on arrival. It is not very expensive and there are many bike rental shops..
