Masham has two breweries and if you have time it is well worth visiting both. The tours are slightly different although the basic brewing process is the same. There is a well stocked shop and bistro attached.

We saved this tour for a "rainy day" activity and were so glad we visited. The story behind the founding of the brewery was very interesting as well as the tour. We learned a lot about the science and art behind the brewing process. At...More

This was bought for my husband as a birthday gift from the kids. A nice idea - if we'd gone without booking would have saved on the 'senior' rate making it better value. We got 3 x thirds of pint each to sample - very...More

Good tour of the brewery. Interesting talk/ video before the tour started about how the brewery came about. Lovely samples of beer at the end included in the price. Would recommend a visit.

Lovely restaurant & shop! The service was great and the food fantastic! If had been closer to where we were staying we would have been back.

The tour was well worth the experience, Steve the guide was very knowledgeable. The weather allowed us to utilise the beer garden and we where able to eat lunch in the sunshine. The menu was a typical bar snack menu, very reasonable.

I wouldn't have thought so. Cant see that there were lifts on the tour.

Get your facts right Bunny. The pub you mention in your last paragraph is The White Bear-yes a Theakstons pub- they've been brewing in Masham since 1827 and once owned the buildings which now house Black Sheep . Landlord is indeed a fine beer but is brewed by Timothy Taylor in Keighley. So irritating when people come on Trip Advisor and spout such ill-informed nonsense.

You need to learn to be more polite and accurate. My review doesn't mention any of the things you have put in your comments. My review is accurate. Love Bunnyxx
