This museum is rather small, but there are a lot of interesting items and 4 cabins made as they presumably were 4000 years or so ago.

Ideal for families and children, who seem to have a whale of a time here, especially thanks to the dynamic and friendly staff. Unlike many stuffy museums, this one offers lots of activities.

Guided tour could be interesting and lots of activities for kids outside ( but in italian I feel). Location is interesting and gives an idea of perishable devices used in these times. Pictures of the initial discovery in line with buildup of Riva hydroelectic plant...More

Absolutely fascinating. I knew nothing about lake dwellings and less about the Neolithic age. Absolutely rivetting. We could see that the school groups visiting were having a really good time. The activities seemed very well organised. I bought a nice piece of jewelry too.

Such lovely staff in this little museum! welcoming and eager to share the history of the settlement that once existed along the lake. We were surprised to find such history here and it made our visit that much more enjoyable. It isn't a huge exhibit,...More

When we first saw the site, across the road from our hotel, we had no idea what it was about. But following the visit to the museum, we started to understand that quite a sizable settlement had been established on this site in the early...More
