If you are not able to book a tour through the Abbey, at least visit their Church and enjoy the architecture and paintings

An updated version of traditional food. Excellent raw materials. Impressive wine list, but, you should taste the wine produced on the estate. It is highly recommended to take the tasting menu. Expensive but definitely worth it

The tour of the winery was terrific. The dinner to follow was OUTSTANDING. Their wine parings made the night.

We visited the wine tasting room and tasted six wines including Antinori's famous Tignanello. The host did a nice job of educating us on the Antinori's various vineyards and wines.

Thank you so much for that clarification; I did thin there was a winery/cooking classes and restaurants all at the monastery. Sounds like you had a wonderful trip. Any suggestions on "what not to miss" outside of Florence... More
