In August 2011 I was lucky to be able to visit this very informative Museum in Passiria, in a bi-lingual area in northern Italy. Austrian-German culture and language (in regional dialects differing distinctly from Austrian- and High-German) are prominent, but the locals are fluent in Italian as well, of course, which is the official national language.
