Pella and Vergina are make a good day trip from Thessaloniki. We went in June, before the tourist season. This meant that no tours were offered from Thessaloniki. In order for us to get there, we had to rent a car for the day. Don't depend on signs on Greek roads. The only signs for Pella were within a couple... More
