Formed by a melting glacier, this beautiful lake is a milky turquoise color, produced by the algae at the bottom.

This was the first day's hike of the Cascada W Trek with views of the lake all the way - just beautiful. A great hike with moderate climbs and relatively easy terrain.

This is one of the many scenic points in the park. Driving or hiking to it will reward you with nice views and a photo opportunity.

Lago Nordenskjold was like a Disney production... truly beautiful and slightly surreal (we had an anomalous day... only breezy and a crystal blue sky).

A great "starter" horse ride before attempting the ascent to the base of the towers. But if you are a beginner be warned, this involves several river crossings and a steep descent down to the lake. If this is your first time, you may want...More

This lake itself is pretty because of a turquoise color from glacial water. But the reason to visit the lake is really all about the views of the mountains, which are spectacular. The lake has limited services, and is not really a recreation site. So...More

Easy hike, nice views around, nothing sensational, views of the far surrounding mountains, and reflections in the lake

An essential vista (and central viewpoints) that can't be missed on your trip to Torres Del Paine National Park. If you're hiking the W Trek, as we were, you will spend a lot of time gazing at this Lake. Beautiful in any weather.

Every lake in Torres del paine is magnificent. I was overwhelmed by the color of the lake and the mountain behind it.

The colors of the lakes in Torres del Paine is not to be missed. You cannot really capture it on camera. This lake is dramatically turquoise. I haven't seen anything like it anywhere else in the world.
