I loved this little museum on Highway six. It is well laid out and very informative. I would highly recommend it.

Small, but shows history of area running from pre-European contact, First Nation history to recent history. Many artefacts and items of interest. Enthusiastic staff.

Well informed docents and well labeled exhibits make this a worthwhile stop. Check in at the schoolhouse building before visiting the early settlers log cabin.

A great way to spend a rainy afternoon. Interesting memorabilia from when this museum was a one-room schoolhouse. Other items as well such as church items and town items.

Our host was very knowledgable and grew up in the area. The school house artifacts reminds you of Little House on the Prairie and the home is very well preserved and takes you back in time. Worth the stop even on a sunny day
