Beautifully located on the edge of the Piazza reppublica. Worth walking around, not worth entering. The views around it are beautiful.

Italy surely has castles with far more interesting stories. But, if you made all the way to Rizzo, and the the piazza della republicca, the castle will provide you with a great view of the sea shore (with the obligatory local 18th century story).

Well worth a visit. Cheap entry tickets (I cannot remember exactly). You can visit the old dungeon/castle with displays of armours and arms. Fantastic view from top.

It is one from three points in Pizzo to value to see. Second is cave by see and third are restaurants there :-) This Castello is paid but the view to see from it is very nice.
