I love this airy gallery, it has some really interesting sculptures in its permanent collection, you are led to the venue if walking along the promenade by a fun range of metal scultures that grace the steps up from the beach. If on the other...More

we were inspired to go to this museum by the lovely sculptures on the promenade. We are not particularly knowledgeable about art and were a little worried the sculptures would be too high brow for us. A needless worry The displays just blew us away....More

As you walk along the promenade you can see fabulous sculptures both on the promenade and on the hilly mound which runs alongside the promenade. The museum is up behind this mound. It is not very well signposted.

An excellent exhibition space near the beach. A mixture of permanent and temporary exhibits that show real breadth in sculpture. A focus on the human form for the permanent exhibition. There is a small cafe, and a good shop, too.

This is a very nice spot by the see that can bring new feelings to your beach walk. Plus close to this museum there is a lighthouse so if you like lighthouses as much as I do - I highly recommend to go there :)

Nice spot near the beach, always surprising when you go in. This time Picasso's ceramic "excercises" in the exibition. As said before: surprising. Friendly staff and a good cup of coffee.

While the temporary exhibit of Picasso's ceramics was great, their permanent collection contained a breadth of styles and artists. My favorites were the abstracted female figures by Dutch Artist Karianne...More

We went at the time of a Picasso exhibition. I have often wandered by here and seen the statues outside thinking the combination of art and the Dutch seaside dunes would be a nice setting for art sculptures. To my disappointment the building was very...More

Modern sculpture museum located on the beach, with sculpture in- and outside. Lovely place to visit on a sunny day.

This museum is on the edge of the beach and has sculptures inside and outside so you might want to hold on to your jacket. The quality of your visit depends on the current exhibition so make sure what's on.
