A coach after a coach, so if you go there to simply see it - fine. I would not count on a deep spiritual experience if I were you - if such sites are your kind of thing and you happen to travel through eastern...More

This small Hill is covered by a jumble of innumerable crosses of all shapes size and material. The assemblage is odd to say the least and has zero esthetic appeal.

Yes, you could park on the road and look at this site from afar . . . . but to walk the path toward the hill and then walk amongst the "forest" of crosses that cover this hill is to experience something really, really different!!...More

Sign said there were 200,000 crosses I think, but it felt like millions! Interesting sight to see. Don't pull into the parking lot unless you want to pay. Just park on the road for free!

Very interesting place to visit, magical I would say. It was nice that you could buy your own cross from the kiosk and leave it there, signed, with all the thousands of other crosses.

Love it or not, I have not seen anything like it. The extent and density of the crosses cannot be fully appreciated in the photos I have seen. I was surprised to see so many people. There is a large car park (0.90 Euros for...More

LOVED IT !! A place of tranquility and beautiful surroundings. Crosses of all shapes and sizes, made of various materials. There are some stalls just before entering, where you can buy various items....including crosses to add to the site. The crosses are so reasonably priced....More

Andreas: There's no direct lighting, only tower lamps at the visitor center. There is, however, a paved/wooden path through the middle, but no handrails. Be careful even in the day. Someone bumped against me and neuropathy... More

The bus stop is at the intersection just southwest of the hill. Maybe 800 yard walk.If you don't have a car then the bus is best. It's cheap and easy to get to the hill with.
