Juls kitchen and cooking classes were great
Sep 2019 • Friends
There were 5 of us and we spent 5 days learning secrets of Tuscan kitchen from Juls. Everything was well planned and it was fun and we learned and saw a lot.
We were invited into the home and made to feel very welcome.
Juls took us to the market at Poggibonsi and also Colle Valle DElsa. And first always and espresso.
The food was marvellous. We cooked it then ate outside under the olive trees.
I would recommend this to everyone. You can do 1 or 2 days. Or more like we did.
The pizza night was good fun.
Juls husband Tomasso helped out and was a good host.
I loved our time there.

Far beyond one could expect!
Aug 2019
There are no words to describe the experience of cooking with Juls... Her studio, her house, her passion, love and respect for Tuscan food, the tradition of her recipes mixed with the freshness of the ingredients, her smile and patience to answer all the questions, she and Tommaso sharing their table with us at lunch, the countryside, the morning coffee, and so on... This wasn´t just a cooking class, this was a whole learning experience I won´t forget. I declare to myself Juls´ fan #1!

Amazing food, location and company :)

You can feel the passion for cooking as you enter the charming studio with an amazing view of Tuscany Olive trees and landscape. I went with my boyfriend for a Market/cooking workshop and the shops we visited and products we chose were outstanding. Julia and Tommaso are great hosts, the cooking class was relaxed and entertaining. If you are looking for authentic recipes you can replicate easily and a home-like feeling experience, this is the place to go!

The best day during our trip to Italy!
Jul 2019 • Couples
If you are considering a cooking class whilst in Tuscany, then this is the one to book. Giulia is so friendly and her home and cookery studio are absolutely beautiful. This really felt like a true Tuscan experience. We cooked with local vegetables and cheese from the market and free-range meat from a family-run butchers using herbs from Giulia's family garden.
Absolute heaven! Next time we visit Italy we will make sure to visit Colle di Val d'Elsa specifically to spend another day cooking with Giulia and Tommaso.

Jul's is so passionate about food and sharing her knowledge. So totally authentic and heart felt. It was like cooking with a family friend. Small groups are perfect as everyone enjoys the hands on experience and of course, sharing the meal. It's fun and unpretentious and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this class.

Great fun cooking and learned so much
May 2019 • Friends
I have to say, I did not know quite what to expect before I arrived at Jul's Kitchen, never having attended a cookery course before... and not being much of a cook.
However, those two days turned out to be the best part of my holiday trip to Tuscany. Giulia is so friendly and a very well organised, impressive cook.
Together with a couple from the States, on the first morning we met at the local market, where Giulia introduced us to the tasty fresh produce and meat, that we were to cook with over the next couple of days.
Then off to the beautiful countryside, only a short drive away and Giulia's home kitchen.
The variety of Italian food that we were shown how to prepare was amazing, with our sleeves rolled up and kitchen apron we participated at every stage... all great fun and no pressure.
Enjoying the prepared 4 course meal, with local wine at the end of each day was a total pleasure... finding it difficult to match the Italian capacity for food!
I would go back in a heart beat.

The best experience in Tuscany
Jun 2019 • Couples
Cooking with Giulia was my favorite part of our week in Tuscany! This is a truly hands on, intimate cooking class. Giulia is a gracious host. Talking with her in the market and seeing what fresh foods inspired her made the meal all the more delicious. She is a patient teacher and made the meal seem effortless. The cooking is all done at her family’s home: a picturesque stone house in the rolling hillside. Juls almost got a new roommate, but my husband said I had to come home.
If you have a chance to take her cooking class, jump on it!!!!

A Wonderful Experience
Jun 2019 • Couples
From start to finish, this was a wonderful experience. Giulia’s groups are quite small (there were only 4 of us cooking), and this allows for a hands-on complete personal food experience (as opposed to a large industrial feeling cooking class with a pre-set menu). My friend and I booked the market to table cooking class. When contacted, Giulia was very accommodating in allowing our husbands to join us for a small fee during the early market part and then also for the lunch after the cooking class. I highly recommend including the market experience as it was great to be there with a local and interact with the vendors. At the market, the items chosen were based on what we were interested in making (a cake vs fruit torte, request for stuffed zucchini flowers). And then we went to cook at her house! I cannot believe how much food we cooked in 3 hours - all from fresh ingredients bought that morning. We had fried sage using giant leaves from her garden, and also a pistachio pound cake topped with apricot and rose petal compote - using roses from her garden. Amazing!! She made it look so easy that I am buying a pasta roller and am now delusional enough to think that maybe I can replicate this meal at home. We enjoyed eating our feast with Giulia and Tommaso on their lovely property - and even got autographs on the books we bought (even signed by Giulia’s husband Tommaso and dog Noah too!). I cannot recommend Juls’ Kitchen highly enough - it wasn’t just a cooking class - it was an entire authentic experience!

An amazing cooking class in Tuscany!
Jun 2019 • Couples
What a wonderful day with Giula, Tommaso and Noah (the dog). If you would like to do a cooking class in Tuscany, this is the one! My husband and I had a fantastic day and it certainly was one of our highlights in Italy. Giula is amazing and gave us so many tips, insights and recommendations. We love cooking and learnt so much. She makes things seem so effortless and the food was truly delicious. We met lovely Canadians who did the course with us on the day and we can rate this course 10 out of 10. Thank you Jules and Tommaso for a fabulous day cooking in Tuscany.
