We were in San Quirico today so we had a wander around these gardens, and 45 minutes well spent. If you can manage to climb the second flight of stairs do? and then the third flight takes you on to the city walls and a wonderful view of Tuscany. Very relaxing nut sure about the modern art though but who... More

All evergreen: Geometrical box hedges, a boundary holm-oak hedge-on-stilts. The only flowers seem to be a china rose, a wisteria, a bignonia. Amid castle ruins remodelled as a Belvedere to overlook the view. A stunning central focus of a giant white statue of a Granduke of Tuscany.

It is a nice quite garden to visit when you are in this lovely hilltop village. But not worth a special trip to see.

When you have a drink at Bar Central in San Quirico, you can always take a look at this garden, it is nice, but nothing really out of the ordinary.

A must see while in San Quirico d'Orcia. A beautifully and well kept garden right in the center of the town! Very peaceful and serene.

Is a very beautiful spot..with the italianate garden..the well manicured hedges with sculptures accenting the perfect spot. Great spot to relax after dinner or take a slow... More

As stated in previous reviews, it is not perfectly maintained. Still, it holds a special place in my heart; we sat on the bench, enjoyed the sun end the peaceful setting, almost drunk of the scents of blossoming trees and roses. A true retreat as Tuscany in general should be.

Beautiful Italian garden in a small park within the village medioeval walls. A place for a short stroll and for some relax.

The Horti Leonini are spread along the border of the entire historical center of San Quirico. It is very well-kept and has a delightful atmosphere, even in the Winter.

San Quirico is a wonderful hill town near Montepulciano. It has charming hotels, great restaurants and is centrally located in Tuscany. It's just a few miles drive to Montepulciano, Pienza, La Foce and Montalcino...wine, food, cheese, history, beautiful countryside... What more could you want?
