For those looking for quiet, less dveloped beach this is a great option. A 25 minute walk down a path ensures that hords of people wont be makingbthe effort

After a short walk through the jungle in which you can see old sceletons of buildings you get to a very nice beach, with lots of nice surfers. You can even buy some small snacks at a beach bar.

The way before Engenhoca Beach is The Famous Atlantic Woods that is present from Northeast Brazil to Southeast Brazil . There is a very shadowy way , very nice and you meet Botanical species of interest : Tiririca ( cutting vegetation to be handed with care ) Jussara palm which give us the delicatessen Palmito and Dendê Palm tree which... All places has its beauty in a way, so they can't be really compared. But I'm biased to say that found it to be the best beach among the others we've been (Itacarezinho, Tiririca, Rezende, and even Jeribucaçu). We went there in a day of pouring rain, so it might get full but we didn't really get a crowded beach.

This secluded beach is surround by beautiful jungles and a stream that runs into it. You can only get to the beach by walking about 15 mins down a trail that follows along a nice stream. It's a "beginner" surfers beach but the waves were a little rough when I went. There are nice palm trees to throw up a... More

Bit of a hike to get there but once there you are in paradise. Beach surrounded by tropical forest. Hardly anybody there. A few surfers and us. There is a small bar for drinks and some snacks.

We've been there a lot for surfing! beautiful short walk of 15 minutes through the jungle, the beach is lovely, nobody is bothering you with selling something! 👍🏼 There is a small tent (family business) where you can eat good tapioca, order coconuts and drinks, but that's all, beside that, pure nature, definitely our favourite beach in Itacaré! You can... More

We went with our two little girls. The trail was fine for them. The beach is beautiful, but take your food. There is one place that sells some food, but it doesn't seem to be good. It is a good place for surfing, but the place is very inviting for kids as well!
