the church of san francesco is very well decorated in Baroque style. You can watch the tombs downstairs. To bad they are all cleaned out en no longer original. If you pay a tip you are guided too de backyard (that is not well maintained)....More

This has to he a must see. The place is crammed with painted carvings, with almost every square inch covered with something. Just sit and be amazed.

I am a sucker for baroque churges and this one does not let you down. Quite simply it is beautiful no matter where you look. Not only is there no fee for this but there is an exhibition next door of models of different churches....More

The murals on the ceiling are worth the visit. This is a lovely old church and an oasis of calm from the busy streets.

Stunning, unusual and quirky church in a beautiful sea town. We were the only visitors and the guide (spoke no english) put the lights on and lead us into the catacombs underneath. We could approach the altar and allowed to take photos. Ask for an...More

Definitely take just 1/2 an hour to walk through this gorgeous church. My daughter & I stayed a bit longer just gazing at this beauty.

Do yourself a favor and go to see this beautiful church. Before visiting the church proper, you will be instructed to visit the abandoned convent next door, which is an incredible experience. Once you have done that - enter the church and be awed! Besides...More

Lots of impressive art work. Beautifully displayed wooden cross before main altar. Old foundation walls displayed. Free - certainly worth a visit
