Great beach for fun, relaxation and family. The sand is velvet and you can wade a long ways out before it gets deep. The town is very quaint many many good eateries and you can pretty much walk anywhere when there. Was recommended by a...More

I love this beach its beautiful and stetches for miles. The waves are great and we spent a couple of afternoons chasing hangovers body surfing. There are several great chiringitos if you fancy some refreshments.

We stayed here for a couple of days. There are lots of good bars and restaurants and the beach is fabulous. Lots going on but the beach was not overly busy. Will definitely return for weekends. We combined this with visits to Jerez, Cadiz and...More

Crowded in summer as the whole coast in Spain, but not so much. You can find spots away of constructed areas that are pretty empty. In addition there two close beaches (Alemanes and Cañuelo) that are superb and almost virgin beaches. Just take care of...More

Couldn't be a better place for a holiday. Clean, wide beaches, cristal clear waster and gently sloping to the sea.

I can highly recommend this little town. The restaurants are good and the beach is awesome. The water is refreshing and crystal clear. The sand is beautiful and there are several bars and restaurants along the long stretch of beach.

We just spent an evening there and I think its a nice beach but too crowded compare to where we were ( Zahora & El Palmar). Many good restaurants but its better to reserve in advance in August.

New restaurant (I'm hoping). You pay upfront, fast food style......table of 8 between the first plate coming out and the last I'd say 50mins. The food was mediocre and the service was with a smile, but you got he impression the young lady didn't have...More

Look in El Puerto de Santa Maria, you can walk to the train station but better yet to the ferries that will take you across the bay to Cadiz.
