Very long soft sand public beach accessible at various intervals. Be respectful of private property and access beach where indicated. Good signage. Portapotties and garbage recepicles at access points. Lake water can be smooth as glass or wavy for days after a storm. Beach is...More

Great beach. Mostly sandy camping spots and trailer spots. Food in Port Rowan, 5 miles. Long Point is "dry". Port Rowan has LCBO and Brewer's Retail.

We went mainly for the birds and beach... neither disappointed. Exceptional birding, visit the "Bird Studies Facility" for great tips on times and locations to view the different species in the area. The Provincial Park beaches are phenomenal and stretch for miles of soft sand...More

We go to Long Point several times per year - both day trips in the public areas, and camping at the Provincial Park. It is absolutely beautiful. Long point has a very low-key vibe, very family friendly, and non commercialized. Make sure you pack a...More

A very unique peninsula, incomparable with other places in Ontario. There are wetlands, swamps, sandy dunes, beaches, a provincial park, marinas, a creek and swarms of birds! Considering its rich history, it’s certainly a very extraordinary location.

We came in off season and got to see the nearly abandoned beach (the best kind of beach I think.) It is a great stretch of wilderness, though maybe a shame that the lead-up to it is so developed. There were a group of hawks...More

We go here several times a year. In the spring there are bird migrations and it's a great place to walk around the marshes and trails. In the summer in Long Point Provincial Park there is a beach with amazing soft sand. Beautiful area

There is a daily fee but I am unsure of the amount, as we purchase a season permit. I believe it is somewhere between $8-12.00. You do not need to go into the park at all, as there are many entrance to the beach and you... More
