Truly great hideaway beach for families, couples or small groups. small but very clean beach. Access is through a gated pathway alongside Sheringham Beach Apts. or by the right of way East of Butterfly beach Hotel.

The week we stayed at Bougainvillea Resort, the beach was posted with Red flags because the waters were so rough and there was a ton of seaweed. So unfortunately we were not able to go into the water.

When there is an off shore breeze there is a slight sewage smell. Very private beach no amenities. Watch out for the tides, we were sun bathing and got complacent, big wave came in and soaked us all.

There are a few rocky spots that you have to leave to walk around before you can get back to the sand. Walking along the powdery sand from Maxwell Beach to Oistens was very relaxing.
