Took the grandchildren up to the local pools. You can just paddle, swim, loll about on the sideline under the shades, or cool off under the rain umbrella. A very pretty setting and inexpensive activity The attendants do need to point out the ramp or flat entrance for people with pushchairs, small children and the not so able as their... More

Came here with the family after a bad experience at Te Aroha Spa pools.where we spent $90 and got bad service. here we were treated with respect, great service and only cost $20 for the family plus $2.00 for the adult spa. the day we came they had two young men doing a tourism survey on the Waikato. Enjoyed a visit to these great thermal pools on a Sunday. They are great value for money and it is definitely worth paying the extra $2 to enjoy the spa pool. The setting is lovely next to the bush where you can enjoy the sound of the birds in the trees. The pools are clean and well maintained. There were... More

We struck a sunny spring day and there was only one other person swimming. Lovely outdoor setting, well worth paying the extra $2 for access to the spa pool. The changing rooms had a big heater as well as showers and private cubicles.

We spent a couple of happy hours wallowing around in the warm/hot water. The larger pool is 1.2 metres deep and about 20 metres long - not suitable for lap swimming as there were quite a few people floating about. The toddler pool, with mushroom is very shallow. There is also a biggish spa pool. There was a lifeguard on... More

Nice cheap clean pools. Great for little kids with a paddling pool and a deeper pool for the older kids with lots of floating toys. Also nice hot spa pool for a small extra charge.
