Tough course but can see why it's one of the best!

Played in the winter with the wind howling and I think you always like a course more the better you play, however it's hard to see why anyone would have a bad thing to say about B and B. Quality course and greens are fantastic so true and it's February! Great speed and gives you a lot of confidence on... More

The weather was very unsettled so I did not make a reservation. When I arrived it was clearing so was able to book a room in the dormy and a round on the Championship Course the next day. That evening had an opportunity to play nine holes on the Channels Course. At less than 1/3 the price of its "big... More

Society golf day at this golf course. Breakfast was had before hand which was excellent and filling. Golf course was in fantastic shape. Testing with some blind holes but greens were maintained to excellent standard. There was something for everyone key was to keep straight and plot your way round. After good game of golf with great views retired to... More

Decent course and pro shop but don't bother with the clubhouse. Poor service and food. I suggest taking sandwiches and a flask of tea. Or better still, give it a miss completely and go to Royal North Devon GC.

Visited 2/9/16 for a major club competition with a party of 64 . What a fantastic experience well up there with the best in Britain. Made to feel very welcome and this is a proper golfing challenge. There is not a singleness shot available and you have to think hard about every golfing decision on the course. Need to play... More

The title says it all, however the only real competition for true links golf in the South West is Saunton Sands. The main bar has recently undergone a refurbishment with new comfortable seating and the food is still very good and reasonably priced. The Channel course offers great value for those wishing to either try links golf for the first... More

12 of us played on a July Monday. We were early, made to feel at home, some clubs do not do this: the starter was great made us feel at home. I played this course 7years ago totally how wonderful it is. Views, greens are wonderful, blind shots over dunes is exactly what a links should be. Some easy holes,... More

There are two courses at Burnham. We played the channel course first it's located between the championship course and the sea. It has 9 holes and 18 tees it's a good course and is a great warm up for the main event. The main course is a different challenge with some really tough holes which on a calm day are... More
