Not really a tourist attraction

A few snackbar/coffee shops and it has no real character, The old town with the more upmarket eating facilities and the church and the views are more what tourists will enjoy

We passed through while exploring Altea. We didn't find anything special to keep us there, but the area is popular with locals and tourists. Altea has a lot to offer so it was nice to see the Plaza but there are much nicer places to see.

There's nothing wrong with the townhall square. It's spacious but lacks character and doesn't represent the more classical enticing and admirable Spanish flavour that can be found in so many other places within the Altea urbanisation. The promenade and the old town are the two primary places to visit when coming to Altea .... perhaps not this square unless you're... More

A small town square with little to write home about. A few cafés, the usual (suspects) banks occupying the corners and a few old men watching from the benches at the Town Hall.

The plaza is a space with many cafés and shops which is popular with locals and tourists. Several times during the year there are artisan markets in the square and it is where the three kings procession ends on January 6th. The tourist office is located in the town hall and it is where you can buy tickets for the... More

This town square is a lovely location to enjoy a cold beer or a nice coffee in one of the cafe's or bar's and do some people watching. There are plenty of shops just off the square and the train station is quite close.

A lovely little village, set high on a hill. Views toward benidorm were fabulous and it was easy to reach by bus for a fiver.

Well worth the steep climb up the hill, to enjoy the ambience, the bars, but most of all the amazing views
