This place has a good collection of mammoth remains and pieces of information that describe the history of this region and mammoths in the region. The scientist in the museum was extremely knowledgeable. Our tour guide translated everything from Russian to English.

A little hard to find, a nondescript white building next to the university and up to the 4th floor. A helpful staff member offered to show us around. Most exhibits have Russian only descriptions but it is all pretty self explanatory. An interesting English produced...More
