This was a risk of a booking with one unfit mom, a normal for dad and an adventure loving three year old, but it was a complete success. Ken our guide was amazing. We made campfires, did camoflauge hide and seek and then the obstacle course twice. Everything perfect for the ages and fitness levels. Anything too complicated was modified and my son had an absolute blast. Two brilliant hours!!

For the rest of our week he continued to gather small sticks for Ken to help him with his fires. Highly recommend to anyone!

My fiance and I did the adventure package as part of our stay at Fota Island Resort. It was so much fun! We did survival skills and archery, built a tent and camp fire, made smores and then did an obstacle course. Kids would absolutely love this but its great for adults as well, and good to burn some calories if you've over indulged! The social distancing measures worked well and did not detract from the experience. We had a guide, Sam, all to ourselves and he helped make the experience even more fun! Would definitely recommend this.

I am not a big fan of zoo’s and tend not to visit but as I was staying at the resort next door it was to be expected to drop in. Prices are approx €16 per adult which isn’t bad. The animal mostly are kept behind electric fences but they seem to have a lot of land and it didn’t seem as cruel as seeing them behind glass cages. Some animals such as kangaroos are even allowed roam freely. Reading how some animals were endangered and that zoo’s are helping to preserve them eased my guilt at times. A few animals did look sad but I could have read too much into it. There are giraffes, zebras, rhinos, monkeys, bisons, lions, tigers, cheetahs and more to view.

I took my three sons, added 17,13 and 12. Although we were the only visitors at the time, Sam tailored the experience to us and we all enjoyed it.
