One of the must see when you are in Macau. I spent most of my time at Sendo Square when I was there.

Besides the architecture Macau has very few remains from the Portuguese time. this is one of those remains. the square is relatively small but with a distinctive Portuguese Style

Very beautiful elongated square, recognized as a UNESCO historic site for its many 200 to 400 year European style buildings. It is a pedestrian-only area. The area houses many expensive international brands and unique retail shops. There are also many western and Chinese food restaurants. Very picturesque at night. It can be very crowded, so watch your possessions.

I came here twice. Once was a couple days ago, and the other one was just last Christmas Eve. AVOID THIS PLACE DURING HIGH SEASON! It was sooo crowded you can barely walk and people just kept shoving you as if they can't see you right in front of them.I guess, this is just another tourist trap.Along the way you... More

Please, just go there and buy the fresh cherries at the stalls, try all the pork slices, almond biscuits, cookies, polo buns, Portuguese tarts and snacks.

This place gives you a good sense of what the town must have looked like so many years ago. Easy walking, beautiful buildings with old Portuguese tile work. The walk ways are very reminiscent of the sidewalks of Rio with the black and white wave designs. Definitely worth a visit especially on a nice day when you can stroll and... More

Very cute European square in the heart of Asian city. Clean and well organised streets and buildings. Every corner is picturesque.

Without the crowds it was a great photo opportunity however there are so many generic shops here it was hard to avoid crowds after 11am. The harshly lit signs of modern shopping were a weird combination with the old style of he buildings and I hope this isn't a sign that old Macau is losing its identity!

This place is very crowded when I visited on December. There are many beautiful building along the street & as I walk to go to Ruins of St. Paul, there are lots of shops selling macau cookies where they generously offer free sample. The road signage are clear, so we know which direction to take.
