We ended up here as we couldn't get a room anywhere else in Macau due to some event that was on..so after trying many hotels, the taxi driver said that was the best chance. We found a very old building, restored and updated to perfection.....More

The place is very nice itself but the best part of it in my opinion are the great views of the whole city from different angles. The Grand Lisboa and the Macau Tower look really good from up there

Make sure the museum is open the day you visit (I think its closed Mondays) as its much easier to use the Museum escalators to get to the top of the Fort. Walk around and check out the canons and the views. Loads of people...More

we visited this place in the morning and spent about 2 hours here. This place is okay and you may come here if you are on a long visit to Macau. So specific sites. No good eateries. Washrooms ?

You can probably give this free fort a miss. It's a fairly steep climb to a big concrete platform, with some suspiciously modern looking cannons on the way. No sense of history or indeed anything else to be gained from the hike other than the...More

Very historical fort dating back hundreds of years. At the top there's still old canons, along with a lot of greenery like trees and shrubs. Wonderful view of Macau as it's at one of the highest points in the city. It's quite a steep hike...More

We stopped here while walking the historic centre of Macau. This fort is well worth a visit. It is adjacent to the Ruins of St Pauls. The fortifications on the hill are quite extensive and there are good views from the top.

Definitely worth making the climb to top of the hill to see the fortress and museum inside, lovely views over the town.
