the library is an old building that has been updated with an extension in steel and glass. when i visited it was a hot day and stepping in was a welcome respite from the heat. there were a good number of people just quietly reading around the library so you can get some sense of the local life. a comfortable... Close to the centre in an area that has many old buildings, relaxing to walk around. Also there was an art exhibition on when we were there, so worth looking out for other ones.,
