We went on a Monday and it was know where near crowded. Beautiful blue calm water. We parked in the Buye beach resort parking lot $3.00 for the day. They do have bathrooms on premise by the parking lot. If you walk north on the beach all the way down as far as you can go you will find lots... More

Very crowded, even on weekdays, and noisy. Looks pretty, and is probably nice during the winter, but don't bother in summer. Has shops, restaurants, can rent shelters for $25. Playa Sucia was much more quiet.

Very nice beach (though not as nice as Playa Sucia), but effectively ruined by the hordes and hordes of PEOPLE (and their huge stereo systems, trash, kids, etc). I can't imagine why TripAdvisor's description of this beach includes the word "secluded." This was one of the most crowded beaches I've been to in my life - and I went on... More

I usually stay in the north and east of the island but this time I went west coast. Stopped at this beach locals told me about. Buye beach, the water was so clear and clean I guess the person in the review that said the water was dirty must of gone not in beach season. People, just because its the... More

Not sure the other poster went to the right beach but I walked couple of meters north, and I think is a nice light white sand beach, nice blue color ocean, but not better than Playuela. This beach is popular during the weekend so logically thrash will pile up fast. May be the poster is referring to the Cabanas at... More

Awful. Dirty. Sand fleas. Shallow water. Trash everywhere. Worse beach I've ever been to. Rusty fences. Falling down building. Terrible. Way better beaches!! Don't go!!!

good beach but watch out the mosquitos! In December, no one was there but make sure when the sun is going down you leave the beach as the little "No See Uums" will bite you to death.

One of the prettiest beaches on the island. Always make it a point to visit Would recommend going during the months of August - September since everyone is back to work or school. Beaches are empty and enjoyable.

Nice place to have fun with the kids! The facilities are just what you need. A parking lot that include a dressing room and a shower. Gazebos, restaurant and shop with what you need to have a full beach day. The water is very calm do to an outer reef that breaks the current. You can find plenty of shadow... More
