Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Some museums are really worth a visit. That's how I felt about the Saare Kek Museum. Fascinating and well-curated, this museum tells a story of living in Estonia during the 70s and 80s Soviet occupation. It is filled with interesting objects and personal stories that make you stop and appreciate life today.

The exhibition said that if the smallest budget-supermarket of today's Estonia could be transported back into the 1980s, it would have been by far the best shop in the Soviet block and people would have organised shopping trips to it from all over Estonia and even other states.

Also, all exhibits translated into English, Russian, Finnish, and Estonian.

This exhibit is a must-see in Kuressaare! The exhibit is very detailed with loads of information on how people lived their lives during the Soviet occupation. There’s tonnes of cool artefacts and reconstructions of old Soviet shops and restaurants. The lady who works there is super friendly and happy to give a little introduction on Soviet life. I definitely recommend this museum, I was there for about two and a half hours!

Amazing museum. Well worth the visit.
Just about 5€ cab ride on Bolt from the town center. So glad we came. Fascinating and well-curated. Full of interesting objects and all exhibits translated into English, Russian, Finnish, and Estonian. From the building to the furniture to the exhibits, it really gave an authentic view into what life was like during the Soviet era.
