A fantastic place to walk around in, get a coffee, get some food, experience the history. The narrow streets are always a blast to see, and even for us who visit here a few times a year, the old city still is a magic place,...More

We spent another enjoyable half day walking through the winding streets, finding different little alleyways to explore, the wonderful views are worth the climb up the steep cobbled streets, and then a lovely walk around the lower part of the town where there are plenty...More

Ok, you are not in Dubrovnik or Venice. No need to compare, every city is different. An absolutely fabulous walk around the city walls with some escapades in the old town to have a drink. This city has a lot to offer.

Lovely medieval old town and stunning views of the bay area. Steep, so sensible shoes required, and a certain level of fitness too. Walk to the top well worth the effort though. There are plenty of little bars/restaurants in the old town not far from...More

It depends where you're dropped off, but there are a lot of places to stop for a rest. If you go early in the morning when it's cooler, that helps. We walked about three miles in total around the whole area, and we went very... More

You can take a taxi up to the entrance but as far as I know there is no way to get to the top in another way than by foot.

You can walk or take the bus! It's easy to look for the solution when you are there as now it's hard to say where the ship will stop.
