My little boy and I enjoyed surmounting the steps... we counted 92 but we could be out by a few steps !! It was a worthwhile visit and very much enjoyed 😊

The view over Lovere from the 28-metre tower is spectacular. Ancient frescoes encountered on the way up tell the history of the town. Be advised that the climb is not without its challenges (steep stairs, lots of turns with low overheads) but is definitely manageable...More

This tower is integral to the history of Lovere. We were able to have a free visit and see the view from the belfry (complete with a large bell). The walls on the way up the very steep steps chart the history of the town.

This medieval tower is located in a small piazza, one of the nicer parts of Lovere, with a restaurant very close by.

Whilst strolling through the town I was approached by a friendly local gentleman who was encouraging tourists to view the tower. He was clearly proud to be able to show it to visitors and his attitude certainly made it for a more memorable experience. Lovere...More
