this island is beautiful and very family friendly. You take a small boat taxi from stresa to the island....there is shopping and places to eat. My kids favorite thing to see is the white peacocks. and all the flowers and fountains

This is a very popular destination. The island is small and gets very crowded. It is still worth a visit. The Palace is very ornate. It has about 70 rooms. I found the grotto rooms to be the most interesting. The gardens are nice.

We purchased the all day ferry pass and hopped on and off all day! We enjoyed the tour of the palace and all its history but loved the grounds! Just beautiful with all the flowers and birds especially the white peacocks

This Isola Bella place is not accessible at all! You can’t go anyware without walking on the stairs. There are stairs on the palace and a lot of stairs in the baroque garden. I didn’t notice any elevators nor ramps. But i... More

Last ferry out of Stresa to the mainland is at 17:30, and no you cannot have dinner as the restaurants close soon after the last ferry has left. There are no hotels on Isola Bella, but you can find a BB
