Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Trnava is a charming, inviting town with lots of churches, restaurants and cafes and only a 30 minute train ride from Bratislava. However, we went on a Sunday in October and the Old Town was almost completely closed. The tourist information center was open, as were two or three restaurants and two or three churches, but everything else was closed on Sunday. From what we could see from the signs on the doors, a good number (the majority?) of the shops closed on Saturday at noon. We don’t know if this is seasonal or not, but that’s what we (and the very few other people we saw walking the streets) encountered.

Trnava a pretty little town with more rustic Christmas Markets. Less commercialised than the larger cities. Very friendly people. Very reasonable to eat and drink.

Visited Trnava city for the first time and we really love it. A lot of churches, historical city center and 143 stairs to get a beautiful panoramatic view from the Town Tower. The city center itself is very vivid, a lot of bars and restaurants full of people. Enjoyed this city a lot.

The best panoramic view of the historical center of Trnava town with many chuches and cathedral. And a bonus ... it's a historic tower.

No wonder this is rated #1 top attraction in Trnava!
The view on top is amazing!
Just take under consideration that you need to climb about 140 stairs that get steep at the end!
It costs 3 € per person to go all the way up.

A lovely view of the city... Not too difficult to climb. In the center, easy to reach. There is a helpful information desk attendant downstairs,.

You must go up the stairs to the interior of the Town Tower where you can see the mechanism of the clock, an old map of the fortification of the city, uniforms of soldiers and firemen and of course admire the amazing view of the town.

When visiting Trnava, this is a must! The town tower provides really picturesque view on the whole Trnava area, as it is built on a flat land. Really enjoyable, not too many stairs and really not dangerous - but - the adrenaline is there!

The view from the top is absolutely stunning, and you can also see how the bells inside the tower work. There is lots of information on display inside, and they sell good souvenirs at the bottom, but being at the top is amazing. Definitely worth it.

The climb is not excessively long/high but it's high enough to give you a great view of the entire old town area. We were there in December so we had the added benefit of seeing the Christmas market from up high. 3 Eur is a small price to pay for a great view.
