Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This is a very rewarding hike, great scenery, suggestive winding path, great variation in the local surroundings. I would plan 1.5 + 1.5 hour for a round trip, and make sure to bring sufficient water (I took 1.5 liter and drank it all). I regretted not having a hat, there is little shade.

Did this walk with two younger teens. Easy terrain, some hills. Incredibly hot....wish we had got up earlier to do the walk before the heat. About 3 hour round trip. Take more water than you think you need. Free street parking at Peru beach. Late lunch at Ta Kalida post walk is a must

You know how many "easy" walks on Corsica have you scrambling up a vertical cliff? Finally one that doesn't! You still need sturdy shoes and plenty of water (because it's further than you think, it's not an hour each way, more like one and a half), but it's definitely worth it. Then go and cool down on the beach.

Easy hike, max elevation change is about 20-30m over 100m distance so pretty gradual. Good to do with young kids. We did it with kids ages 12, 10, 7 and 5. It is about 3 km from the start of the route on the south end to the tower and will take about 1.5 hrs one way. Bring lots of water and sunscreen - there are some shady trees along the way but most of the walk is in the open sky so if it’s a sunny day you will get lots of it.

And if you are into geocaching, you can hit 15+ caches along the trail including two EarthCaches.

Enjoy!

Great walk - easy with even small kids.

Do chose an alternative route for the return. Route is stunningly beautiful.

1 hour from Ta Kladia to the tour along an easy foot path which runs along the sea. You can also reach the tower from Chiuni which is a 2hr walk

A pleasant walk from Cargese (about 6km each way). The paths are well made and marked and the views get better and better. The tower itself can be climbed to the top for the great view - and you can scramble out to the tip of the headland on the rocks - a wild place. A lot of work has been done to improve paths that provide access to excellent beaches on either side and a route across the base of the headland
