Great spot for pictures. This was a really big deal having famous starts from America to come here. As you walk around the small town you won't miss it.

I am a big fan of the movie Quit Man, and it was a treat to see the dedication to the actors who played the lead roles.

The entire town of Cong transports you to the film “The Quiet Man”. If you are a fan of Irish history, movies, or John Wayne, you must visit this city and this legendary statue!

The statue of Maureen O'Hara and John Wayne was fun to see. But I marvel at the fact that this town is still drawing tourists and making money off a movie that was filmed there in 1951!
