Loved seeing the statue from The Quiet Man. I never realized this is where the movie was filmed. The town & scenery are so much more beautiful in real life. I would go back tomorrow.

It's an interesting statue to stop and see. We were lucky that there were bagpipers having an impromptu concert when we were there.

If you Google quietmanmuseum you can get all the info you need not only on the museum but on the tours offered as well.
