My wife and I took this cruise and found it delightful. The captain was extremely informative. He has written a small book worth purchasing that speaks to the history of the lake, a few of it's islands and of course Ashford Castle. We would recommend...More

We did not stay at the hotel or lodge, but rather did an extended walk with Ireland School of Falconry. The walk took us through the castle gardens and woods. It was quite lovelty, and the views over the lake were stunning.

Very pleasant cruising, there is a small bar that sells coffee and drinks. The islands are spectacular. The Ashford Castle looks great from the boat.

The cruise on Lough Corrib was outstanding. The captain's commentary was extremely informative. Best of all, it sounded as fresh as if he was describing the features of the Lough for the first time, even though he has been running these cruises for years. His...More

Took the cruise from Ashford Castle. I'm amazed that the crew and their family have been doing this for generations. So personable and friendly. Tons of education on the tour with lots of social time.

We were having afternoon tea at the castle and decided to take the cruise around the lake. It was really nice. Beautiful untouched shores, a smooth trip and the pilot very knowledgeable about local history....the time went by quickly.
