Short drive from cala d'or, easy access by road and very clearly sign posted. Paid €6 parking for the day, to ensure the car was parked nearby in the shade but it's also possible to park the car roadside with an additional 10 minute walk to the beach. Location is secluded from resorts and noise and is absolutely stunning. Clean sandy beach and clear waters. The beach bar is reasonably priced for drinks, we ordered ice cream and drinks at the bar and packed a picnic with us. €15 for 2 sun beds and parasol all day, highly recommend to purchase sunbeds if you have travelled to the s'amarador without your own parasols with kids as there is no natural shade on the beach. Saw one family setting up towels near the lifeguard tower for the little shade it offered but that's not practically or leisurely. Bring paraols/tent or hire the sunbeds. We arrived 10:00 and there were around 20 people at the beach, the sunbeds come with a coded locker for valuables. Around midday is when all parasols had been hired out and the beach got busier from then all day until we left around 18:00. Festival style portable toilets which are replaced for cleaning during the day. Yachts do pull into the Cala, and lifeguards ward off smaller boats for safety that try to approach the beach. No danger. Stunning beach and location well worth visiting and recommend planning for a full day out. Perfect weather in May.

This beach of a tiny length is so far away, it should be a destination itself of a trail walk. Our view is that it is not worth visit for such portion sand.

Beautiful, lovely atmosphere, awesome nature. A small bar with snacks, drinks and ice cream . Crowded, but friendly.

Beautiful beach, busy but you cam still find space to seat, few minutes walk if you find the right parking (follow the cala’s moro signals) and bring your drinks. Some seaweed but ok

little walk from parking but so so worth it, about .8 km to get to the beach. small cliffs along the water to jump in, small bar where you can get a sangria and some snacks. if you can, come after 5pm - parking price rediced from 6€ to 3€ and weather is more pleasant. no umbrellas for rent, so bring your own.

Beautiful beach but very busy. Bit of a drive to get to the national park, but parking, although €6 for the day, is plentiful with shady trees to park under. It’s a bit of a walk down steep steps to get on to the beach, but it’s worth it. The sea is crystal clear and the sand is white. There’s a little beach bar and a few parasols and beds to rent, but basically you have to bring your own amenities with you. It’s a perfect shallow beach for children, but you need to get down early for a good spot next to the sea.

I'm almost certain we did not park in the right place. We were driving down this itty-bitty (like, 1-1.5 lanes) road, Ctra. A.Blanca-C. Mondragó and when you get to the end, it has a small turnaround. There is only street parking and there were a bunch of cars (maybe 15 or so) but definitely not enough for the amount of people that were at the beach. It was free though, and there was an official path (and I believe signage) so we knew we were in at least one of the correct spots. I *think* the correct place to park is on Cap d'es Moro, in those parking lots, which charge a little bit of money. It looks like that walk is quite a bit longer than ours was but during the busy season, that's probably your best bet. We were here May 7th, 2022 (a Saturday afternoon) so while it wasn't the busy season, it wasn't super slow either.

In 2008, this beach was named the Best Beach in Europe by some obscure website that I wasn't able to verify by any another website. Oh well! Good enough for me lol!

There aren't too many facilities on this beach but we weren't planning on staying super long, since we were pushing it on our toddler's nap time. We rented an umbrella/2 lounge chairs and settled under those to eat our sandwiches that we had brought with us & get the kids swimsuits on. Going up the path towards where we had parked were bathrooms, which is where we used the bathroom and us adults got our swimsuits on/off. I think where we had rented the umbrella/chairs had some small drinks/snacks to purchase (my husband went up there to rent the umbrella/chairs so I'm not 100% positive).

Because of the bend in this little bay, you can't quite tell Cala Mondragó is nearby. There seems to be a walking path that can connect those two beaches but we didn't even notice it until looking at our pictures & Google Maps afterwards. It makes this beach seem super private and serene, which in many ways, it is.

There were at least 20 people out in the water and while it was warmer, I didn't think it warm enough to go too far out. We all waded up to our knees or so but mostly enjoyed the shore, the sand & the views.

For me one of the best beaches on the island. Beautiful and clean water, sandy beach, surrounded with forest and stones (cliffs with a good view of water and beach).
Good connection with a path on cliffs between this beach and Cala Mondrago where somewhere on the middle path have a viewpoint on the sea.
There is parking about 10mins walking from the beach and it is a 6 euros.
There were remote toilets and a local bar.
Sun beds and umbrella are also available but for the price around of 15euros.

Stunning beach with Azure sea that was the best I’ve swam in. We visited on a Sunday at the end of July so it was bound to be busy, and while there was not an inch of sand to put a towel on, and the bins were attracting swarms of wasps / the sea was heaven. No one seemed to be swimming further than their waists so beautiful and empty once you leave the hoards of sun worshippers behind. Lovely fish swimming between our toes.

Cosy beach front with excellent waters and wonderful photo opportunities. Low on external facilities though, so don't expect stores or sophisticated bathrooms/changing areas.
