Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Centrally located huge statue of Lenin is an easy and free to visit attraction. Good for children, who do not know who Lenin was:) - all they need to know that his head statue made it to the Guinness book of records

I was travelling as part of Friendship Force club. this group travels around the world visiting various clubs in different countries. the club we stayed with in Siberia was wonderful, providing our group with many lovely experinces , visiting a number of temples, etc. we stayed with a local family which was a treat. this family had a huge vegie garden and we enjoyed the veggies from it.

This is a famous statue of Lenin's head, in the main square of UU. (appropriately called Sovetov square, and surrounded by Soviet style buildings all around). You ought to see at least this statue, even if you are in UU for just a few hours. It is a small city, so if you are here for a day, chances are that your hotel is nearby! The best thing to do in UU is to walk down the street between Sovetov and the big cathedral, a little over a kilometre all up. Plenty of interesting objects to see on the way: statues, monuments, buildings, etc....

It may not be the largest statue of Lenin but at 7.7 metres tall it is the world's largest statue of his head. Built to commemorate his 100th birthday it dominates the city square.

There's something special about lying on the grass, napping under this incredibly large monument. Quite an impressive sight.
