The museum does not show history of Buryati. It shows the gadgets people had from the 19th century to the present. No information in English.

Centric, easy to find and a small place not worth the name of museum. It was a wealthy trader home, maybe the best point of this attraction. Worth a short detour while strolling along the Lenina.

3 of us visited there. Most Paintings explained in English and it was good to know about the City. Also they allowed us to take photo inside.

There are many old photos of Ulan-Ude and paintings that show what Ulan-Ude look like in the past. Anyway, you can buy the postcard here.
