We took a boat from Puerto del Carmen to Puerto Calero. Boat trip is not really worth it but the walk back was very nice: great walk and lovely views.

This was a great way to spend a morning. Started in Puerta del Carmen and got to Puerto Calero in about an hour (taking breaks and photos and a slow pace). It's an easy enough walk though there is a section with steep steps. Puerto...More

Excellent walk. We were going to walk one way only. But enjoyed it so much we returned on foot also. Easier route than expected.

70 flights of steps so not as demanding as it looks at first. Beautiful views and well designated path that's easy to follow. No where to get a drink on route so ensure you take some water with you.
