Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Our trip to Antarctica, contracted with TPC, was an unparalleled experience. The expedition on the Atlas Ocean Voyages ship World Voyager was excellent. The comforts of the cruise, the organization of the disembarkations, the food, the attention of the crew, the knowledge and disposition of those in charge of the expedition..., everything exceeded our expectations.
But I want to make a special mention of the attention we received from Daniela and Agustín from THE POLAR TRAVEL COMPANY. From our first contact, Daniela, from Ushuaia, was attentive to all our questions, responding quickly, with precision and clarity to each of our questions; He helped us choose the itinerary and the time of the trip with great solvency and enthusiasm, and also gave us very precise advice for the journey. Agustín, from Buenos Aires, was attentive at all times; even to solve a problem that had arisen with the payment, resolving everything with great professionalism and honesty, something that, unfortunately, is not very common to find in other travel agencies.
I definitely recommend this agency!

I found The Polar Travel Company by accident, but I soon started asking about trips to Antarctica. It took me two years to book a trip and Sebastian never tired of answering my questions which definitely helped me make the decision to book with the Polar Travel Company.
Throughout everything, Covid and travel restrictions, I was always made aware of the options available to me.
Then as it got closer to my travel date, I remember how excited he was that I was finally going to make it to Antarctica. It felt more like I was dealing with a friend.
I ended up having the trip of a lifetime which was made possible because of the exceptional service I received from start to finish.
I would absolutely recommend the Polar Travel Company to anyone looking for an adventure in the polar regions. You will not be disappointed and you will be well taken care of.

We’ve been in contact with Sebastian from The Polar Travel Company for planning a last minute trip to Antarctica 🇦🇶. Unfortunately, there were no trips that could match our wishes. But Sebastian guided and advised us throughout the whole process, leaving no questions unanswered.
It is clear that this company is experienced and professional when it comes down on planning and advising on these Antarctic tours. Therefore, I would recommend everyone to contact this company when they are planning to do a Antarctica trip.
When we get back to Ushuaia we will certainly will, thats for sure!

Went above and beyond making sure I got the best deal, had all my logistics covered, and checked in with me before and after the trip. There is a reason this company was awarded Best Travel Agency for the International Travel Awards 2022—they care about their customers and are passionate about the polar regions. I will definitely be a repeat customer when my next trip to the Polar Regions or Patagonia beckons.

This was an incredible journey and we have Polar Travel Company to thank for putting it all together for us! I reached out to Sebastian late last summer regarding the type of trip we were looking for and he was able to find something that was exactly our fit.
As we prepared for our trip, both Sebastian and Agustin helped us out tremendously through every step of the way. They even thought of the little things, such as what company to rent equipment from... which apparently hadn’t been told to many of the other passengers on the ship. Having the equipment already rented helped us to rest assured it would be available to us and in the exact size we needed. It was already in our cabins once we boarded. This saved us from having to wait in line during our first day onboard to rent what we needed.
My husband reached out to them just a couple weeks before we left to inquire about the possibility of us getting married in Antarctica. Our wedding had already been planned for August of this year so performing the ceremony there had just been an idea we had been tossing back and forth in our minds. They reached out to the company who ran our cruise and got back to us immediately with a firm YES and they made all the arrangements it happen!
We set sail on the M/V Ushuaia on January 28th for their ten-day Weddell Sea Quest cruise. Our request to be married was met with great enthusiasm by every crew member onboard our ship. They did everything they could to make the whole event more spectacular than we ever could have imagined!!
The whole voyage was amazing! I will attach photos for your reference, but they don’t even compare to the feeling you get from being there. We saw so much wildlife; Weddell Seals, Fur Seals, Sea Lions, a Leopard Seal, Adele, Gentoo, and Chin Strap Penguins, Orcas, Humpback Whales, and a countless amount of beautiful birds. The landscape was an endless expanse of beauty. Untouched white and blue glaciers set upon water that was the most brilliant shade of blue and huge jagged mountain tops alongside glacial cliffs that shot right down to the water.
Almost all of our expedition leaders were scientists and they were extremely knowledgeable of our surroundings. They loved teaching us about everything from the wildlife and the glacial formations to the history of Antarctica and conservation initiatives. They were all very amicable and never hesitated to help out in any way that they could to make sure we all had the best experiences possible.
We started out as a small group of four, but gained many more life-long friendships on board and I know that I speak for us all when I say THANK YOU to Sebastian and Agustin and everyone else at Polar Travel Company and to those who worked onboard the M/V Ushuaia for giving us this experience of a lifetime!

Agustin Ullmann from The Polar Travel Company is a competent and knowledgeable travel agent that I have worked with to help me plan my trip to Greenland and Iceland this past summer. He helped me plan and arrange my 12-day trip to Iceland, when the expedition to Greenland was canceled due to Covid-19.
I have found him to be very responsive to my questions and concerns. He goes the “extra mile.”
I highly recommend Augustin to all who are interested in polar travel.

I had a wonderful experience booking my trip to Antarctica with the Polar Travel Company. It is challenging to book an expedition cruise during covid and they booked a great option for us to cross the circle and we had a great time during this dream vacation. What makes The Polar Travel Company exceptional is that when we had to quarantine in Argentina on the way back from Antarctica, they took care of me and my husband like family as it was a major interruption to our trip. We were vulnerable in a foreign country in a govt. selected quarantine hotel and my agents (Malva and Agustin) were amazing to work with. Malva was on whats app answering all my questions, rebooking my flights, arranging hotels and cars for me and they took care of all steps during a difficult time for us. They even sent groceries to my hotel, they were like family to me. It is times like this interruption when you learn if your travel agents are there for you genuinely and they offered amazing and caring services. I highly recommend booking your trips with The Polar Travel Company. They offer various destinations and it is critical to know your agents have your back if you have any interruptions especially during times like this.

This company found me a great last minute deal to Antarctica. They contacted me as soon as I reached out and took care of all of my paperwork swiftly and efficiently. I got an amazing deal thanks to their connections, I would have never gone to Antarctica and accomplished my dream of visiting all 7 continents. This agency's professionalism is not matched by any company around. I highly recommend this company. Book your next trip with them, you won't regret it!!!

Hola!
Camisetas livianas y remeras o sudaderas.
Ropa confortable y casual para usar a bordo.
Otro equipo
Crema protectora solar y protector solar para labios (altamente recomendable).
Lentes de sol
Binoculares
Bolsas de cierre hermético para proteger su cámara de fotos y binoculares del agua de mar y salpicaduras cuando vaya en los botes Zodiacs.
Mochila (ideal para llevar una capa de abrigo extra, agua, binoculares, cámara, etc).
Saludos
