This event set with a wonderful back drop of the Drakensburg mountains is not to be missed. You will be amazed by what these birds can do and with their relationship and reaction towards the handelers.

Fantastic place and a great show; you'll be blown away. Enclosures are beautiful and the birds are clearly very healthy and well looked after.

Well worth a visit. Show is informative and humorous. Venue could do with more shade. Presenters, (husband and wife) are extremely knowledgeable about the birds of prey on show. The show could be enhanced by the use of a microphone, as it is sometimes difficult to hear what the Presenters are saying. The parking area needs a lot of attention,... More

I just cant believe how they can ever train these birds to do what they do. I could go there every day to watch this show. Fascinating!

Very informative, see birds of prey up close. Needs to be a sunny day so birds can find the thermals.

Falcon Ridge is in a beautiful setting with fantastic views of the Drankensburg and surrounding countryside. I was initially concerned about the ethics of keeping birds in captivity but the information given during the displays assured me the birds may not be alive without the centre's care. The displays and accompanying detailed talks were well worth the long drive from... More

A most interesting and entertaining place to visit. The bird display was well presented with a variety of 'Birds of Prey', in a breathtaking hillside location offering far reaching views over the Champagne Valley and surrounding Mountains. A must to see when in the Winterton area.
