The Embiez island is located in south of France, in the Var Department (83), between Marseille and Toulon, in front of Six-Fours-les-Plages.

The "natural island" is accessible all the year from the Brusc Marina in Six-Fours. In summer, many sports activities are available (kayak, biking, catamarans, paddle ...) and sports competition (tennis, petanque ...), parties, entertainment, train tour, etc.

The Embiez Island is one of the Paul Ricard Islands, acquired by the eponymous entrepreneur Paul Ricard in the 50s.

Various accommodation facilities and catering are available on site.

I walked from Sanary to the Port du Brusc since it was a sunny but not very hot day, Cote d'Azur weather at its best and I was able to enjoy some wonderful scenery on the way. I bought my ferry ticket for 12 Euro (roundtrip ticket of course)right there in the port at the Capitainerie. It is indeed a... More

Book direct in the port, short sea journey to island. Don't go expecting excitement! It's an old fashioned place with lovely beaches, the sea is so clear though quite cold even in August. The beaches we used were very sharp shingle so recommend beach shoes. Loved the ice-cream boat that comes around the beaches, fab idea and very welcome. Small... More

Got the ferry from Sanary, 12 minutes easy crossing. Lovely island with good walks. Lots of hidden coves but beware of stones beaches and sharp rocks.

I did stay on the Island for one week: The island itself is place of beauty. Take a strole and find yourself small beach’s well worth the visit or look the sights more inland. You can study must of the scenery in about two or three days. The only downside is that the price level on the Island is extremely... More

You reach Ile des Embiez after a 12 minute trip from Brusc by ferry. Ile des Embiez is one of the two islands by Paul Ricard, the founder of the famous Ricard drink. When you arrive at the island the first thing you see is the harbour with hundreds of sailing boats and motoryachts. There is a shop where you... More

Beautiful spot, clean and at one with nature; aquarium a little disappointing (very small)! Wonderful little beaches with rock pools full of sea treasures, turquoise waters, idyllic in many ways. Had enormous fun with my small boys. Not sure what it's like in the height of the season, very popular and busy I suspect!

Nice beautiful island, the little train is useful if your legs are tired. the man driving the train on the island is a bit of clown! The swimming can be good but be aware of the jelly fish. I got stung very badly and it was and still is painful.

This is a good place to visit for the day. They are renovating the hostels and places over there since the management changed. This is an island which belongs to Paul Ricard and his family and this is interesting to learn about the life of this man. The Island has several nice natural spots to visits. For a run or... More

Very good day trip with family. The ferry from Brusq is on the expensive side (40+ EUR for family for a 7 min trip..) but once there you can chose to spend according to the size of your wallet. Nice hiking, views and beaches with much less people than in Six-Fours. The aquarium is small but shows the local species... More

We made a daytrip by boat to that island. It was worth the 14€-boat-trip! Such beautiful views from there over the island and back to the coast! We were a little sad, Brause we actually went there for their "Marché Provencal" which usually takes place each monday, but this time they had some problems. But the walking tour around the... More
