Amazing castle transformed into a great contemporary art museum! There is a permanent exhibition with very interesting pieces, and a part dedicated to temporary exhibitions. Even for someone who is not so fond of contemporary art, it's a beautiful stop. Beautiful view over the town....More

If you are visiting Turin and are a lover of contemporary art, do take the time to visit the Museum of Contemporary Art, located in the picturesque town of Rivoli, about 10 kilometres away. This palace (don't expect a castle with turrets) once belonged to...More

A superb contemporary art gallery in all respects. The modern conversion of the old baroque palazzo (not actually a castle) is fantastic. The renovated old buildings are almost surreal, and the hill top location gives a splendid view back to Turin. And then there is...More

Herrenchiemsee meets the Neues Museum! - this wonderful architectural intervention has restored a ruin in a way that's exciting and useful, providing large spaces for all those bits of pretentious rubbish that no-one needs.

Charming streets lead uphill to the Castello. It is a fine structure made all the more interesting by the myriads of exposed brickwork. It provides a marvellous backdrop for the contemporary artworks. The state of Castello restoration has the effect of ornate walls and ceilings,...More

Close to Turin, interesting building and some exhibitions that are worth seeing. Defenetly for art lovers - some of the works are strange.

What a surprise! In a beautifully restored palace you will find a wonderful collection of contemporary art. The buildings are not immaculately restored, but that makes them even more appealing, it just feels right!
