As times goes by!

This is a location that you have to visit. The island, the church the Domestift is a must see place.History you can see. What a story to learn about what can and had happened, in years, in centuries. The Dom is a Great Place to find-quietly time? We visited the area on a important day in German History . The day of reunification!

A most fascinating cathedral!
Aug 2018
This cathedral (or Dom) as it is called here, is well worth a visit. Its Catholic foundations date to 1165, later becoming Lutheran. Its architecture is both Romanesque and Gothic with a simple exterior but quite remarkable decorations inside. A must-see if in Brandenburg.

One reason to go to Brandenburg
Aug 2017 • Couples
This is a beautiful church, not a great grand cathedral, but small and friendly, with stunning white and dark blood-red interior and lots of interesting details. Excellent organ if you have an opportunity to hear it.

Stunning cathedral
Sep 2016 • Couples
Brandenburg cathedral is ancient in its origins, though restored and expanded over the centuries. Its current incarnation dates to the 1960s, as explained in one of various informative displays. Admission to the cathedral is free, though the museum within is 5 Euros per person to enter. Donations are suggested, but certainly not compulsory. A visually stunning building, within easy reach of the city centre by bus or on foot. Very much recommended.
