I would say a romantic place to visit. Travel only if you have transport arranged. No good places around to eat so carry something for munching if you want.

The sunset view is good but I would suggest you to be careful of the monkeys. Nice quiet place otherwise. Keep your camera handy for some beautiful pictures.

This place was just next to the resort in which I was staying. Beautiful view of the valley below and of the Sahyadri mountain range. The place is well maintained, clean and peaceful. Nice view of the setting sun

First time, I had been to this place about 4 years back. Back then, we had stayed at Sun Set Point resort, which was a good experience. Just two weeks back, we visited this place. On the NH8, take right from Manor junction, cross Vikramgagh and reach Jawhar. The sun set point, is actually a special place made to view... More

There is a resort managed by an owner in western suburbs The resort is interesting but not managed properly. There is pool side dining area. We enjoyed the food but after... More

127 kms from Mumbai. It takes about 3-1/2 hours. There are two ways to go one from Dahanu side. Take right a few kms before Dahanu. The other road is from Thane side

As in all hill stations, there is a sunset point at Jawhar also. You can have a view of the valley below and the sunset, of course, if you time it right.
