This hike takes around 8 hours to complete. It's cold along the trail and there are a couple of nice viewpoints along the way as well. This was during my first hike up this mountain. As of August 2016, the access road to the trail has been fenced with a locked gate. Inquiries on this were made to the police... More

A 5-6 hour walk through montane forest to a peat overlooking the Klang valley. The trail starts behind Goh Tong Jaya off the road to the Cable car station near the strawberry farm. The trail follows the route of the old road to Genting highlands which has been abandoned for more than 20 years and is now largely overgrown. The... More

Cool weather and along the way, you can see many wild flowers. Some site has leeches but it's not so bad. Towards the peak, the condition is quite similar to Mossy Forest but with less moss, of course :-) Certain slopes are quite muddy on rainy days. Rock Garden (last stop before the peak) offers the best view of Genting... More

This is a nice cold place to hike, you can see quite a lot of nice plants especially during rainy season. However, this is a place that quite famous with the leeches, the blood sucker is everywhere in the lower trail. Do prepare for the bite. The climb is up and down , up and down. This is not suitable... More

The entrance of the Mount is near to Hotel Seri Malaysia. We followed two regulars to the entrance. There is a signboard written 'private property, no trespassing.' We saw only few people as in the beginning of the hike. The real hike began later on when the trail is narrow and almost covered by the overgrown plants. Wearing long pants... More

Great hike on 14th June 2015, started the hike in the rain the few kilometres till the trail head was a stroll in the park, the moment we got into the trail my nightmare started, had to negotiate a slippery n muddy downhill which was tough on my mind, slowly step by step managed to overcome this stretch, in 2... The trail is easy as there's a lot of "caution tape" marker along the way and you wont miss it. It's better if you go there with someone with experience or it will be confusing at the start of the journey and you might miss the right way to the peak. I really enjoy the hike overall as it's really... More
