On the eastern side of the Etna volcano, in the woods of the National Park and facing the sea of Taormina, the Gambino vineyards are a pleasure for your senses and for your heart. A Pleasure for your sight, because they represent one of the best models of Etna vineyards of high altitude: in an exclusive natural environment, at 800 meters above sea level, the vineyards lay on sunny and airy terracing that have a breathtaking panorama.

A pleasure for your sense of smell, for the unmistakable perfumes of the volcano vegetation. A pleasure for your heart, because the vineyards and wine are great passion that, for over twenty years, involves and guides the Raciti Gambino family.

Enrico from Excursions Sicily turned us on to a tasting and visit to this winery. What a hidden treasure. We were hosted by Francesco and his team and they treated us like true family. Not only was the hospitality great, but the wines were wonderful as well. Thank you Francesco and the entire Gambino team, we loved it and I... More

Six of us booked a tour when we visited on a cruise stop. We used a private driver, Roberto, and he was wonderful! The Gambino winery was so friendly and wonderful wines too! We had a great tour and even helped with the bottling/label machine. We all bought lots of wine to bring back, and we found the prices on... More

We had Sicily Limousine (see my review of them) take us to Gambino Winery for a wine tasting tour. It was a fantastic experience. I'm not a big wine drinker but I sampled all five of the wines they presented and my wife and I enjoyed everyone one of them. Our waiter Fabio spoke excellent English, was very friendly, and... A really easy place to find. Got there early (1030) and were shown great hospitality. Tasted several wines amongst a commentary of terroir, grape and tasting notes. Plates of cheese, meats, bread ... a really nice few hours. Thank you. We've ordered for home delivery our favourites.

Our family tour group visited this beautiful winery for a scheduled tasting in September of this year. We all enjoy wine, live in Washington/Oregon wine country and love Italy. Thus, a wine tasting had been requested through my travel contact at In Line Italy, which contracted Natour Sicily to serve as our in-country host. The owner, Fabio, who is a... More

Sorry for the length, but just wanted to touch on the problems and good things. Firstly, call or check their website for business hours, Google was wrong. Secondly, we were staying half way between Linguaglossa and Mt. Etna and it tried to take us there via back roads, which were not drivable. Make sure you TAKE SP 59 out of... More

We stopped at this beautiful Mt. Etna winery during a tour of Sicily. The terraced vineyards are interesting and the visitor center is modern and beautiful with great views . We are both wine lovers and enjoyed the six wines that we were served along with a cheese, olives and bread plate. A red wine made with local nero d'avola... More

We arranged a private car and driver (120€) to take us from Taormina to Gambino winery after we found that the tours which run on Fridays were fully booked. We were collected just outside Porta Messina. The driver was an older man and did not know the location of the winery. After the third attempt to ring them enroute, we... More

This was our first stop for Mt Etna wine tasting. All the reds were great (I only do red) and it was really nice to learn about the grapes used in Sicily, I had never heard of them. We enjoyed the selection of cheeses as well. They also have good prices on bottles.

We went to this winery as part of a day of touring in Sicily. They had a good selection of wines but it was very busy, noisy, very little explanation of the wines and the service was too slow. Very commercial and better suited for a very large group. We would not go here again.
