I visited Penang National Park 2 days ago. The weather was beautiful and hot. As soon as you arrive, everything is clearly signposted and you have to sign in at a desk before you start your trek/hike. My friend and I decided to do the...More

One of our best decisions. The trail was initially easy - just walking. Until we crossed the bridge and the trekking began. It might not have been easy all the way but it was definitely fun and challenging. And when we arrived at the beach,...More

There are a few trails and I randomly decided to take the trail to Kerachut Beach. That probably wasn't the best decision. The trail was quite challenging (or may be I'm getting old). It's about 1+ hour hike. The beach was beautiful -- it's a...More

Enjoy your walk in the jungles, listen to the sounds of the nature and just relax. We chose the trail to Monkey's beach. It is not difficult at all but put on some comfortable shoes like sandals or sneakers and take water with you. The...More

My trek at the Penang National Park started with a boat ride from the boat docks near where the 101 bus terminates. After stepping off the bus there is no need to hunt around for a boat tour agent as several will be hanging around...More

Really good walk through the "jungle terrain". Took around an hour and a half to get to Monkey Beach. Ensure you have insect repellant, water and enjoy the walk. We were able to get a boat back for 40RM which was a relief as the...More

Sorry for the late reply. You have to register at park HQ but there is no charge. Probably the office opens at 8.00 AM and it is situated at the entrance to the park
