The journey is more important than the destination because when we reached there, it was completely blanked out by the clouds. Which in itself was surreal and very beautiful.

One gets a bird-eye view of the Nainital lake. This is a part of standard sightseeing. The Nainital lake looks beautiful from this point.

Location is beautiful and it takes around 20 minutes driving to reach there. You get a great view of the Nainital lake. Other than that, there isn't much to see. This is part of the regular site seeing tour that local cabs offer you.

You can get the view if you go to the top by cable car. The view from the cable car is amazing and the lake really looks of the shape of a mango.

8226 ft above sea level. A good place for tracking. Tea and maggie available. Have shade to hide in case of rain or snowfall. Lake view is nearby and one can see china border from peak. Friendly guards, good climate but shortage of water.

if you stay in city then 2 hrs is enough but make sure you go to Naina peak in the morning before 9 am to get the view of himalaya. once sun rises then you wont see the himalaya. this is really exciting scene to see himalya.
