Casa Cervantes is an impressive 16th century residence so called because Cervantes is supposed ti have stayed here whilst he was a tax collector. Interior features charming patio with fountain.

hadn't known anything about this place until we happened on it by accident. Hadn't even known that Vélez-Málaga is sometimes called Ciudad Cervantina. Beautifully cool and plenty of information on walls shaded by balcony. There are offices in the building and I kept thinking that...More

Wonderful food ,friendly waiters and a fantastic night .I would recommend this restaurant 100 per cent .Cannot wait for our next visit !

amazing place in the centre of Velez Malaga tipycal spanish with a lots of office where they offer many courses. Wonderful!!!

Fascinating building with excellent calm ambience, and welcome respite from intense heat of the day. The whole area of San francisco has aged charm and examples of the town's efforts to preserve and pay homage.

Visit also el convento San Francisco at the other side of the street. Amazing! and just at the corner el Palacio.

This is the house where Miguel de Cervantes lived when he was in Velez Malaga. It is now a language school but you can have a look inside. At the moment they are celebrating the 400th anniversary of his death and in the street outside...More
